Take the Ashbourne Road out of Strathalbyn off West Terrace. Proceed up Ashbourne Road for 7 km. After passing Dogtrap Road on the right look out for big pine trees and a white gate. Windrush Cottage is set back from the road about 50 metres and is hidden amongst the trees. If you get to the Sunnydale Road and Cox Road intersection, with the Strathalbyn Golf Course on the left, you have gone too far!
